HISTORICAL NOTES
Included in the Academy’s Cosa collection are catalog cards of archaeological finds, maps, drawings, excavation notebooks and photographs from the Poseidonia/Paestum excavations by Frank E. Brown, 1954-1955. 

SCOPE AND CONTENT
The collection of digitized photographs consists of a set of 27 photographs (17 x 12 cm) and 77 photographs (8 x 11 cm) found in the Cosa Collection, American Academy in Rome, Photographic Archive. The images are thought to be by Frank E. Brown.

ARRANGEMENT AND PROCESSING INFORMATION
The reproductions were made from the positive prints, as there were no negatives found.
