ARRANGEMENT AND PROCESSING INFORMATION
Photographs are arranged by the following categories: Pottery (particularly black and red-figured vases); Sculpture (Greek, Hellenistic and Roman statuary, particularly cuirassed statuary); Portraits; Sarcophagi and votive reliefs; Bronzes.
The entire collection has been digitized.
CUSTODIAL HISTORY
The collection has been donated to the American Academy in Rome - Photographic Archive in 2007 by Ludwig's daughter, Dr. Katherine L. Jansen (FAAR 1995; RAAR 2014), Professor of History, Catholic University of America.
