General:The Blake collection is an accurate survey, mostly on Italian mosaics. It consists of photographs, personal notes, drawings, postcards and manuscripts. Paper-cards show detailed descriptions and drawings, on recto and verso, often with bibliographical references (including information on pages and tables).
Arrangement:The paper notes were organized by Marion Blake in alphabetical order by city name. The original order has been maintained; to proceed with inventory and digitization single paper notes have been numbered at the top right.
Processing Information:101 paper notes and drawings on Aquileia mosaics: sample images have been digitized.
Scope and Contents:Most of the notes on Aquileia are referred to the Basilica Teodoriana. They include reference from "Fondo Ritter", "Fondo Pasqualis"
